I really enjoyed catching up with my friend. We looked through albums of their family pictures and talked a lot about all their adventures. So sad that we live an ocean apart, but so grateful for airplanes.
On Tuesday we visited St. Malo. It is a walled city. People are all abuzz talking about it because of the NYtimes bestseller "All the Light We Cannot See" by Anthony Doerr, which is a wonderful story that takes place in St Malo during WWII.
We found the addresses of several places from the book.
We stepped into the St Malo Cathedral and admired its rose window.
While we were at St. Malo A. stayed behind to play with her new French buddies.
