Lannion and Ploumanac'h

On Friday night we made it to my dear friends', Gaelle and Emmanuel's, house in Bretagne. We walked around Lannion on Saturday morning looking at the picturesque 18th century houses and popping into shops along the old cobblestone streets.

There was a comic con type event happening in the town center so we stopped by to look in on that too.

For lunch we went to a local creperie.  It was delicious. The presentation was pretty too. First we ate the salty galette (entree) type crepes.
Then we each ordered a dessert crepe

After that filling lunch we headed out to Ploumanac'h to wander along the coast and enjoy the sea colors and breezes.

Big sister A got her first taste of one of the children's favorite activities - running and climbing on the rocky coast.

 I love this scenery.

There were some nice thrones for sitting on in among the boulders.

 Gorgeous rock formations.
I spent a lot of time hopping among the rocks myself looking for sea creatures in the tidal pools.  Anemones and sea plants.
We spied a couple of shrimp and small fish in here too.
