Plougrescant and Raclette

On Sunday we went to church at the branch in St Brieuc. Then we had a feast of Raclette for our lunch.  The raclette is that platter in the middle. On top is a grill and around the edges are little pans for melting cheese in.
Special raclette cheeses melt perfectly.  You eat the cheese on your prosciutto, ham, salami, and potatoes.
With french cornichons on the side. Yummy. Our friends spoiled us with incredibly delicious meals the whole visit - pastries for breakfast, duck pie, lasagna, and this raclette are just a sampling.

After lunch we went on another beautiful coastal hike.

The tide was very low. We looked for shells and sea glass.

Being that this was Brittany it rains a little every day. We needed our umbrellas off and on.  Mostly we had good weather for October.
