And again, verily I say unto you, all wholesome herbs God hath ordained for the constitution, nature, and use of man— Every herb in the season thereof, and every fruit in the season thereof; all these to be used with prudence and thanksgiving. (D&C 89:10-11)
Tis the season for harvesting herbs.
Antiviral remedies have been on my mind lately and I am pleased to have a bounty of elder blossoms to work with.
I stayed up late one evening removing a good portion of the stems so that I could make
elder blossom syrup.
I made a big batch. This should help us stay healthy in the coming months.
