Big Trip to Idaho: Part 2

Mommy arrive in Idaho and there was much rejoicing.  A quick tour of Grandpa's art (those bananas are carved from wood):

More cousin games (Uno):

We headed with the whole extended family to a cabin near McCall, Idaho, for a family reunion.  The cabin had some fun games including this video game, "Just Dance", which uses motion capture.

We visited Rotary Park at the south end of Payette Lake.  It was a bit cold that day but we enjoyed the water and volleyball (in the background):

Cousins enjoying the hot tub at the cabin:

These girls love playing Uno together:

Grandma prepared a slide show of pictures from previous reunions.  It was fun to see how much the kids have grown.

Balcony level spectators enjoyed the slideshow too:

It is an old tradition for Daddy and his siblings to buy these slingshots when they used to visit McCall as kids, so we got some and showed the kids how to shoot them:

Nice view of the valley from the cabin:

This cloud is actually smoke from the Nethker Fire, which started just before we arrived, and prevented us from visiting Burgdorf Hot Springs and the old family cabin in Secesh Meadows:

One of the highlights of the trip was the day we went boating up the Payette River from the north shore of Payette Lake.  We rented paddle-boards:

And canoes:

And kid-size kayaks:

These boys want to buys some kayaks now:

We stopped for lunch at this beautiful spot:

Then paddled back down the river.
