Our favorite children's book, The Seven Silly Eaters, has a section about "MORE!". That is how I feel about things on the farm right now. More ducklings! born this week:
More tomatoes and cucumbers! This was just Monday's harvest.
More cats hanging out in silly places - like the tractor's bucket scoop?! He was sleeping there so the kids gave him a treat to keep him in there while they took a picture.
More pickle making!
Made 16 lbs of cucumbers into dill ferments for canning. Trying out the cherry leaf crisping method.
More dehydrating! Tomatoes. They just keep coming and we are eating a lot, and giving some away, but we cannot let any go to waste!
And more weeding! More rain! More wood chip deliveries and spreading! More garden book reading! So much goodness.
