The first rabbit show that we ever visited back in 2017 or 2018 was a PaSRBA show. It's only about 2 hours away, but is a big national rabbit and cavy show. I always learn so much from our fellow rabbit breeders and it's fun for the kids to hang out with other rabbit raisers.
Brother M came home from it with a trophy for this doe - Best Opposite of Breed is what she won. He also won ribbons for most of the other rabbits he entered. We brought 7 Silver Foxes and 2 Polish to this year's show.
Big sister A's little Polish doe - from the second litter that she bred with her bunnies- scored first place among the older Polish does. There was a lot more competition among the Polish bunnies, so we were grateful that she did so well. Her other doe placed third. We left at 5 am and were there until 5pm. It was a very busy day! We all felt like it was worth the effort, though we wouldn't want to do it every weekend.
