Home sweet garden. We got right to work checking on the garden and harvesting remaining veggies when we got home from our big trip.
I mulched the row of perennial onions. The kids gathered carrots and beets.
In the front garden our broccoli plants had kept busy and there was plenty to harvest for dinner.
These bags of carrots did not grow as fast as I expected. I moved them to the south side of the house so that they can continue growing through the winter.
The tomato plants were brown and dead. Note to self, it would have been much more fun to unclip them all before they were covered with chicken dust and half dead. Several tomatoes were still trying to ripen on the vines.
