For our last beach play date of the summer we decided to do something a little different -- we went to a creek and playground next to a beautiful old covered bridge.
It reminded me a lot of playing in the creek when I was little. Their were little freshwater clams and crawfish. We looked up "bivalves" when we got home and had a little science lesson about them.
