Family Schooling Summary

I took a couple of shots this week that show a typical bedtime here in Paul's basement. Jammies, toothbrushing, prayers and stories, are all interspersed amid a wild rumpus (Where the Wild Things Are).

This has been a quiet week of making arrangements for the closing/sale of our house and getting ready to go visit friends and family in Utah.  We did do a lot of "school work" - mostly the workbook based kind. We also started making the cookies for our neighbors. Even though we are moving, we will still go bring them each a plate of goodies.
The kiddos love helping with the baking and in particular, the frosting, of the Christmas cookies.

This year we made sugar cookies, gingerbread cookies, and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for the neighbor plates.

Good thing we are planning to bring them around tomorrow.  I am worried about these two onlookers...
